Mother Omega T. McCarthy is the widow of the late Bishop Samuel Steven McCarthy and the founding mother of the Gethsemane Church
Of God In Christ.

Mother McCarthy is the matriarch of prayer.  She is renowned all over the world for her counseling, mentoring, and prayer for religious leaders
around the world.  Her relationship with God is evident by witness from the victorious recipients of her laborious efforts of breaking through the
many strongholds of the enemy for the people of God.  She is a powerful opponent against the enemy, used of God for intercessory rapport with
the Lord Jesus Christ for the saints of God in seasons of challenge and crisis. 

Mother McCarthy is an example of holiness to women and men, young and old, through-out generations of all walks of life.   Her wisdom is
without measure and her words are righteous astuteness of spirit and of life. The Gethsemane church family is blessed to be in the season
